Please contact us if you have histories or photos of Titus County churches.
Titus County has many, many churches of all denominations that are an important part of our community.  Due to the number of churches and the time required to research each church's history, the Titus County History Website cannot independently research church histories.  However, we are pleased to post church histories and photographs when a church or others in the community provide them to us.  Please contact us at the e-mail address shown on the "About Our Website" page if you would like to submit your church's history.

In order to list your chuch's history, we need your help in pre-publication preparation of your material.  Please limit histories submitted to the facts of the history of your specific church in Titus County and not your denomination in general.  Histories should contain specific information like when and where your church was founded in Titus County, major milestones in its growth, etc.  Please have historic church photos available for us to scan to include as part of your story to supplement your history.  Histories must be original compositions (not newspaper articles), computer-written, and either provided on disk in Microsoft Word or printed in a scannable font.

We reserve the right to edit histories submitted for grammar, content, and allowable server space.  When possible, we may also supplement histories submitted with additional news articles from various time periods and other photographs that we may acquire while doing other research.

Histories posted on the Titus County History Website are listed by religious denomination to facilitate locating a particular church.

We appreciate your help and understanding.
