Photographer is not shown, but we suspect the photo was by W. B. Praytor. The card is a lithograph (press-printed photograph). The photograph was apparently hand-tinted to give it color before printing. The photo shows what is now North Jefferson Avenue and the east side of the square. Notice that there are trees where the old First National Bank building now sits on the northeast corner of North Jefferson and East Second Street.
Back side postmarked Mount Pleasant, Texas. The date is illegible, but appears to be Nov. 13, 1908, 7:30 PM. Addressed to "Mrs. Lizzie Hovey, Meridian, Tex.."

"Cotton Belt Depot, Mt. Pleasant, Tex." PC-0020
W. B. Praytor was the photographer for this shot of the previous Mount Pleasant Depot. The card was never mailed, so there isn't a postmark to exactly date it, but it was probably from the 1907-1910 era. The card is a black and white lithograph (press-printed photograph). This view of the depot was from the north looking south. The round building in the background was part of the depot at the time and sat at the corner of what is now East Third Street where the present Cotton Belt Depot now sits.
"Court House, Mt. Pleasant, Tex." PC-0022
W. B. Praytor was the photographer for this shot of the Titus County Court House in Mount Pleasant. The card was never mailed, so there isn't a postmark to exactly date it, but the photo was probably made in the 1902-1910 era. The card is a black and white lithograph (press-printed photograph). It is hard to see on this tiny photo, but there is a fence and hitching posts around the court house lawn. Using the buildings in the background as a guide, this shot of the court house was taken from the west side of the square looking east.
