E. C. Brice's
History of Mt. Pleasant Schools 1858-1959

The History of the Mt. Pleasant Schools 1858-1959 was written by Mr. E. C. Brice, a long-time Mt. Pleasant high school principal.  In his book, Mr. Brice documents the development of the Mt. Pleasant school system and also lists principals, teachers, and graduates of the Mt. Pleasant Schools, including Booker T. Washington school, from the early 1900s to 1959.  The book also contains several photos of former school buildings.

The book does not include Titus County schools other than Mt. Pleasant.

Available in printed form or interactive CD.  See the Titus County Historical Commission Store page for details.
