1910 Mt. Pleasant School Report Card - (Photo SC-0013/SC-0014)

This is Tommy Justiss' 1910 report card from the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools.  The card was badly yellowed and torn, but we decided to show it anyway due to its age.  School officials listed his surname as "Justice", but his father signed the card each period as "J.O. Justiss", the correct spelling!

There has been considerable development in the area since this photo was taken.  Calvary Baptist Church was built adjacent to the High School property, then Region VIII Education Service Center, and Boggs service station and market was constructed on the northeast corner of FM-1734 and U.S. 271 (out of the frame of this photo).
