Stonewall School was located  in the Bridges' Chapel community on present-day Titus County Road 1465, 0.2 miles east of U.S. Highway 271 North.  This is a photo of the 1891 class.

This is a photo of the former Stonewall School building as it appears today.  Like all other county schools, Stonewall School was merged with the Mt. Pleasant Independent School District in the latter 1960s and classes are no longer held there.

This is not the same building shown in the photo above, and this building was enlarged after it was originally built.  It was awarded a Texas Historical Marker in 1992, and is now one of Titus County's historical sites.
