We take decent city streets for granted, but like many other things, this was not always the case.  Like other city government services, quality streets and roads took a while to develop.  In this topic, we will present the history of Mt. Pleasant streets and other information about them.

Many of our readers may also be surprised to see how many of Mt. Pleasant's main streets and Titus County highways have changed names through the years.  We will chronicle the changes we are aware of, and will add others as information about them becomes available.
