E. Arkansas, part of Choctaw	Daingerfield Road, also Highway 49	Parts of E. Arkansas and Choctaw Streets in Mt. Pleasant were orignally part of "the Daingerfield Highway" or Highway 49 to Daingerfield

U.S. Highway 67	Highway One, The Bankhead Highway	U.S. Highway 67 replaced Highway One as the main Dallas-Little Rock thoroughfare. Highway One consisted of parts of Texas FM-899 west of Mt. Pleasant and Titus County Road 4135 near Cookville.

U. S. Highway 271 South	Highway 65	U. S. 271 South replaced Highway 65 to Pittsburg. Highway 65 was west of the railroad and is now Titus County Road 2200.

U. S. Highway 271 North	Old Paris Road, Highway 49	Highway 49 used to go north to Talco as well as east to Daingerfield. The north part of Highway 49 is currently Texas FM-2152 (the Greenhill Road).
