Co I went into the Battle of Iuka Miss, on the 19th of Sept 1862 with 38 men had 4 killed and 9 wounded, 1 taken prisoner, 2 color bearers shot down on the 5th of Oct. 1862.  Went Into the Battle of Davis on Hatchie River with 26 men, had 1 wounded and 6 taken prisoners.

This company was mustered into the service at Wilson's Creek, Missouri for 12 months by Lt. Col. McRea and attached to Col. McIntosh's Regiment 2nd Arkansas Mounted Riflemen and subsequently transferred to Whitfield's Battalion by Order of Gen. Ben McCulloch.

The date of the original Muster Roll is 13 Aug., 1861.  The company are armed with Percussion Lock Muskets with Bayonets.  The Company was enrolled at Daingerfleld, Texas, by Capt. E. R. Hawkins and is composed of Titus and Red River County men.

I certify, on honor, that this muster roll is made out in the manner required by the printed notes; that it exhibits the true state of Captain E. R. Hawkins Company, in the service of the Confederate State for the period herein mentioned; that the "Remarks," set opposite the name of each officer and soldier, are correct and just; and that the "Recaptulatlon" exhibits, in every particular, the true state of the company, as required by Regulations, and  the Rules and Articles of War.
